La riscrittura del canto gregoriano

Questo post ha un carattere eminentemente utile e pratico, particolarmente per chi si trova nel bisogno di trascrivere il canto gregoriano e non ha un programma adeguato per farlo. Qualche tempo fa l’Abbazia di Fontgombault (Francia) aveva diffuso un programma per tal scopo ad un prezzo, però, piuttosto elevato.
Recentemente si è sviluppato in rete un sistema in grado di sopperire magnificamente a questo programma e per giunta gratuitamente. L’importante è avere un po’ di pazienza per imparare, ben sapendo che questo tipo di attività richiede una sorta di “amanuense informatico”.
Il sistema per scrivere in gregoriano a cui faccio riferimento si denomina con un acronimo GABC. Lo illustrerò brevemente, poi lascio ad ognuno provarlo. Provarlo con costanza è l’unico modo per impratichirsi ed avere una certa maestria e velocità.

Chi impara a credere impara a inginocchiarsi

Chi impara a credere impara a inginocchiarsi, una fede o una liturgia che non conoscano più l’atto di inginocchiarsi, sono ammalate in un punto centrale. Per questo il divieto di inginocchiarsi appare come l’essenza stessa del diabolico. O Gesù, come non inginocchiarsi davanti alla tua umiltà, giunta fino alla morte di croce? E pensare che nella liturgia celeste descritta dall’Apocalisse, l’inginocchiarsi – proskynein – ricorre 24 volte. Per questo il piegare le ginocchia alla tua presenza, di te Dio vivente, è irrinunciabile.

The Glorificamus Society for the Renewal of Catholic Liturgy

The Glorificamus Society seeks to answer the call of His Holiness Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI (both as Pope and cardinal) for a return to a greater sense of reverence, mystery, beauty and sacredness in the celebration of Holy Mass. In the Ordinary/Modern Form of the one Roman Rite (the Novus Ordo), we implement the Church’s teaching about Latin, Gregorian chant and “ad orientem” posture, promoting the celebration of the Catholic Mass in a way that more closely follows the teachings of the Second Vatican Council in its document Sacrosanctum Concilium.

Graduale Project

L’obiettivo del Graduale Project è registrare tutti i canti inclusi nell’attuale Graduale – Graduale Romanum.

The aim of the Graduale Project is to record all of the chants included in the current Graduale – Graduale Romanum.

Nazval som ho “Projekt Graduale” a jeho cieľom je nahrať všetky spevy obsiahnuté v aktuálnom rímskom graduáli – Graduale Romanum.

I am happy to deliver this message of encouragement and gratitude to you on the occasion of your General Assembly. With assurance of my prayers for the intentions that are dear to your hearts, I would like to take this opportunity to express my profound gratitude to your president, M. Denis Crouan, and to each of you for your determination to defend and promote the liturgy of the ordinary form of the Roman Rite in the Latin language, even despite obstacles that stand in your way in this undertaking. This defense must not be mounted with weapons of war, or with hatred and anger in your hearts, but to the contrary, “Let us put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.” May God bless your meritorious efforts and ever make them more fruitful!

Cardinal Sarah : Le chant grégorien, du silence de l’âme unie à Jésus au silence de Dieu dans sa gloire

Chers amis de l’association Pro Liturgia,
Je suis heureux de vous adresser ce message d’encouragement et de reconnaissance à l’occasion de votre Assemblée Générale. En vous assurant de ma prière aux intentions qui vous sont chères, je profite volontiers de cette opportunité pour exprimer ma profonde gratitude à votre président, M. Denis Crouan et, par son entremise, à chacun d’entre vous pour votre détermination, malgré les obstacles qui jalonnent votre engagement, à défendre et à promouvoir la liturgie en langue latine de la forme ordinaire du Rite romain. Cette défense ne doit pas être menée avec des armes de guerre, ou avec la haine et la colère dans le cœur, mais au contraire «revêtons la cuirasse de la foi et de la charité, avec le casque de l’espérance du salut». Que Dieu bénisse vos efforts si méritants et qu’il les rende toujours plus fructueux!
